Symposium 2013 Keynote Artists

KGSR’s “Lone Start State of Mind” Host, Roger Allen will be interviewing two Hall of Fame musical artists at the upcoming 9th Annual ASG Songwriter Symposium. On Friday evening, January 25th at 7:00 PM, Roger will visit with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Ian McLagan. Then, the following afternoon, Roger interviews Austin Music Hall of Fame inductee, Eliza Gilkyson during Saturday afternoon’s Keynote Lunch Events. McLagan’s and Gilkyson’s appearances mark their first time at the ASG Symposium….

It has been a long judging process this year, mainly because we had a near record number of entrants in virtually every single category. ASG Executive Director, Lee Duffy recently returned from Nashville after meeting with publishers, songwriters and music industry professionals in evaluating the songs that made it to the finals. The list of songs that made it to the finals consideration round are listed below, and that list has been further pared down.
